Every year, the Danny Nimmo Foundation hosts its golf tournament — our largest fundraiser and a chance to bring our community together in Danny's memory. Thanks to the golfers, hole sponsors, donors, and volunteers who show up each year, every dollar raised goes directly to causes that support veterans and their families.

To date, those funds have allowed us to give back in a number of meaningful ways:

• $10,000 to the Semper Fi & America's Fund

• 10 individual scholarships worth $10,000 to The Retreat in Minnesota

• $25,000–$30,000 per year to Pawsitivity Dog Services — funding the purchase, training, and feeding of a service dog placed with a local veteran living with PTSD. Each year, we're proud to sponsor a new dog:
